During 1996 election in Jammu Kashmir the Government of India wanted 650 shelters at different parts of the state for one of the Paramilitary force in 60 days time.
NCL tendered for this work with the assurance to complete the job as per the schedule and got the order. NCL could do it and was able to get one more order for 250 shelters for Nagaland.
This has been the biggest order on Prefab ever received by any company from a Government organization. The credit goes to the visionary Sri K. Ramachandra Raju the founder of NCL who geared up the activity in the company to achieve this impossible task.
