Lt. General (Retd) Trevor Aloysius DCunha PVSM
Lt. General (Retd) Trevor Aloysius DCunha PVSM, was commissioned in the Indian Army in June, 1965 after graduating from the National Defence Academy. Over his four-decade military career, Gen. DCunha has held key positions & undertaken numerous, important assignments.
In 1975, he was selected for a one-year Munitions Course at the College of Chemical Warfare in Tambov, USSR. As a Lt. Col, he was appointed Director of Purchase, ISM London in 1987 & on return from this diplomatic assignment in 1990, he was promoted to the rank of Brigadier & appointed DDOS, 33 Corps. He was later Commandant of AOC Center, Secunderabad. In 1996, as a Major General, he was appointed Addl. Director General, Combat Vehicles responsible for provision & procurement of the Indian Army’s vehicle fleet & spares. He commanded the College of Materials Management at Jabalpur in 2002. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya in Jabalpur.
Upon promotion to Lt. General, he held the position of Director General, Ordnance Services (DGOS) from which he retired in 2006. As DGOS, Gen. DCunha was awarded the Param Vashisht Sewa Medal (PVSM) for meritorious service in the field of logistics. At present, he is a Director on the board of Delhi Public School in Bangalore.
Lt. General (Retd) Trevor Aloysius DCunha, PVSM was appointed Independent Director of NCL Industries Limited on 11th Aug – 2015.
He is also Chairmen of the Risk Management Committee & Nomination & Remunaration Committee
